FOX won't warranty your shocks? Here's the Solution.

There is good news though so that your $600-1500 purchase isn’t down the drain, with the shocks in the trash. FOX’s shocks are ‘serviceable’ - meaning each shock can be rebuilt with new internals, and a new nitrogen gas charge can be applied to the shock, complete ride refreshment. The shocks will be as good as new, potentially better, if you communicate to the service center of your specific driving habits to valve and tune the shocks to your specific vehicle setup. Some customers are running extra equipment in the front or rear of their vehicle, or might not offroad as much as FOX designed these shocks for. Each specific vehicle can have custom shock tuning during these service intervals to make their shocks better and operate perfectly for the driver’s unique road conditions.

What Fox, King, Icon, and every other high performance shock manufacturer doesn’t put in their marketing language is that their race-level shocks are typically only good for 30-50k miles, depending on how much offroad and aggressive terrain the shocks see. This doesn’t mean that the shock will cease to work after those mileages, but the efficiency, dampening, and overall performance is reduced. Typically the ride will feel softer, which some customers actually like! Professional level race teams are rebuilding their shocks every race. Other enthusiast with buggies and race vehicles at the ameteur level are rebuilding every 5-10k miles. A typical daily driven vehicle that sees the trails on the weekends will rebuild within that 50k mile marker.
