The Quicklifts unfortunately are not going to be ride height adjustable, when we say that the quick lifts are adjustable what we're referring to is the valving. The Quicklifts have adjustable valving, but not adjustable ride height. What they're meant for is to get your truck level with the rear at a fixed height depending on whatever whatever truck you have that lift height is going to be a little bit different. Ride Report: 2021 Silverado 1500 Z71

Time for Something New The odometer on my Tacoma has been climbing. All those miles using the truck to take me to and from work everyday, towing the CanAm, and hitting the trails on the weekend are beginning to take their toll on the old trusty Toyota. It was when I found out that I have a new baby on the way that I decided that I not only needed a newer, larger truck, but one that was also more comfortable, more apt to handle towing duties, and also be a bit more fuel efficient. Bilstein 6112 install on a 2020 Ram 1500

We continue to preach how strut spacers just aren’t going to cut it for any kind of performance gains. When you put a strut spacer on top of the shock tower in order to gain some additional height in order to clear larger tires, you’re directly impacting the factory strut in more than 1 way. The spacer will cause the factory shock tower to be pre-drooped, which eliminates downtravel of the suspension equal to the spacer’s physical height. And the factory struts and shocks aren’t valved to handle a 25-50% increase in unsprung weight due to larger wheels and tires,...

During the process of changing out the stock shocks to the Rancho RS9000XL on our power wagon, we lined up the stock shocks next to some alternatives from Rancho. We also get into exactly how to measure your shocks on the vehicle in order to get ride height of the shocks, and how that translates to the shock specifications you may see on our site....

Power Wagon, Solid Axle Fun

It wasn’t easy stepping into the full size truck realm when you’re used to being nimble in a Tacoma. Growing wants of more capability, mixed with the evolving needs of a family on the road meant we had to make a decision. Not to mention the obvious part about the Tacoma blowing a head gasket and being out of commission until an engine rebuild happens. Narrowing down the options. During our research for the next vehicle, we looked at all sorts of options ranging from the Gladiator, the new Ranger, F150s and Super Duties, and of course the new Ram...
